Hi Everybody,
Following the introduction to our 10-year strategy given in December, an exceptional response to the member and coach consultation survey and great engagement with the first of our two interactive Zoom sessions, we are busy incorporating your feedback and shaping the final version of our strategy.
The next step in the process will be to formally launch the strategy through the distribution of a digital publication by the end of February. This will be a ‘coffee table’ summary of the strategy which you can flick through at your leisure and share with anyone who takes an interest in our sport.
We would like to feature lots of great imagery in this booklet, imagery that reflects everyday people enjoying taekwondo in clubs, schools, gardens, and lounges! So where better to start to gather that imagery than from you, our clubs, and members!
We have provided a summary of the type of images we need below as a guide. As a thank you for your time, the senders of any photos that get selected for use in our Future Strategy digital publication will receive a prize of 1-year free British Taekwondo membership.
What are we looking for?
High quality photos of people of a variety of ages, genders, background, and ability really enjoying taekwondo in a club, community setting or at home.
The future strategy focuses primarily on ensuring that our sport is accessible, united, and inclusive, so we want to reflect the diverse nature of our sport and include a great mix of Martial Art, Poomsae, Sport and para-taekwondo imagery.
Why should you send in your photos?
This is your chance to feature your club or even yourself in this strategy publication which will go on to shape the organisation over the next ten-years! …And if your photo is selected you could win 1-year free British Taekwondo membership!
How do I get involved?
Please send photos in their highest resolution format to Rhiannon via [email protected]
Your email MUST state the following:
“I have permission (from everybody in this photo) to share this photo with British Taekwondo, for them to use publicly*”.
*This includes in British Taekwondo’s Future Strategy document, social media channels and website.
When is the deadline?
Please send your photos in by Sunday 31st January 2021.
The small print – Please be aware that by sending in your photos, you are giving permission (on behalf of everybody in the photo) for British Taekwondo to use these in their Future Strategy digital publication, social media channels and website.
