Ryan Lochte Mess Prompts Olympic Visitors To Leave Apologies At Rio Airport – NESN.com

August 22, 2016 by admin

A lot of amazing things happened at the 2016 Sumner Olympics, but unfortunately the main buzz around the Rio Games continues to be Ryan Lochte’s “armed robbery”  incident.

However, there still are some good people in this world, and they are leaving apologies to Brazil for Lochte’s actions on a message board set up in the Rio de Janeiro–Galeao International Airport.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Lochte and three other USA swimmers were victims of an apparent armed robbery while returning from a party last week at the Olympics. But teammates Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger gave very different accounts of what happened, as did the police.

But don’t worry, folks, Lochte just “over-exaggerated.”

Sigh.
